Are you sure it is species Cymbidium? it looks similar to Cym Chiisana "Kristen".

In any case what a gorgeous plant.

I doubt very much that it is a species - much more likely a hybrid. The scape is very similar to Cym floribundum but the lip markings are wrong and are probably derived from Cym. lowianum.

@galbe, CymbidiMan:

Thank you very much for your hints. I am not quite sure as it is from one of friends giving me.

Anyway, it looks very much like what galbe mentioned and the lip is very much like Cym.lowianum, CymbidiMan said.

Would post here another Cym.

All these beautiful Cymbidiums almost make me think I have chosen the wrong orchids to keep! :? However, I have yet to bring my few into flower, so will wait and see how I get on with them before I branch out again.

Cymbidium mastersii by the look of it. A nice coloured specimen.

It is clearly one of the 'Chinese Cymbidiums'. These species have been in cultivation for millennia and have been line bred to produce huge variation. I would guess that it is a Cym. cyperorchis but could possibly be Cym. faberi

is a particularly attractive species. The sharply pendant spikes and red lips have produced some handsome miniature hybrids.

Good morning Annamy.
There all very nice, but the picture that just stands out for me is that of 'Bicolor'.
