They sure look nice Tony. Dazzling in fact.
The lip patterning on the Cattleya maxima must be a bit of a repeating theme. I guess it's the botanical equivalent of a signpost saying 'bees this way'.

I too like the colour and shape of the Lc. Kupferprinz. The flowers also smell really nice and are fairly big, much larger than the C. maxima, but the sad thing is they don't last very long. :cry: The colour and shape comes from Laelia tenebrosa and that species, sadly enough, has very short-lived flowers (less than a week). Still, it's a cracker and I love it regardless. ;)
