OK now I will do something that I never wanted to do.
Posting a Hybrid photo of a plant that I actually bought myself.
Ever since I have seen the picture of this Cypripedium Princess I got under her spell. And this year I even bought another one .
C. Princess is a Hybrid between the well known and easy Cyp. reginae and the much less seen and dificult to grow Cyp. lichiangense.
The plant is rather small and covered with many reddish hairs. the flower large compared to the plant and nicely covered wit dark spots. really an example of a good hybrid. showing good things of both parents and raising these qualities to another level.
Grtz

That is very elegant - I agree with you. I have this as well, but it's only cycle 2!

What a beautifull plant, that is one I would like to add to my collection one day.
